Swastik Oleochems boasts a sophisticated infrastructure comprising specialized facilities dedicated to the meticulous production of oleochemicals:
High Pressure Splitting Plant
Process Description:
Vegetable oils and acid oils undergo preliminary heating through heat exchangers to optimize viscosity and facilitate efficient processing.
The heated oils are then directed to the continuous fat splitting tower, where they are introduced at the bottom of the tower under high pressure conditions (55 kg/cm²) and elevated temperatures (250°C to 260°C).
Simultaneously, process water is pumped to the top of the tower, flowing downward in a counter current manner to the oils. This controlled flow facilitates the splitting of triglycerides present in the oils.
Under these rigorous conditions, triglycerides in the oils undergo hydrolysis, breaking down into crude fatty acids and sweet water. The sweet water contains crude glycerin, which is separated for further refining.
